CHRISTIANITY: A DIVINE RELATIONSHIP
“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me” (John 5:39).
The Christian life is not merely about worshipping or learning the Bible as a storybook. It is a life given to us to live, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week; it’s a divine life. It is the very life and nature of God imparted into the human spirit.
Many go through life without ever encountering the fundamental truths in the Word of God of what Christianity is and who the Christian really is. That’s because they don’t study their Bibles. Yet, Jesus commanded us to search the Scriptures.
He wouldn’t have instructed us to study and search the Scriptures if there weren’t valuable treasures for us to discover. Paul also exhorted us to study, not just read the Word, for there are depths of revelation that can’t be accessed without study. In studying the Scriptures you’d discover that as Christians, we have a real and living relationship with God. That’s no religion!
All our outward actions, such as praying, giving offerings, studying the Bible and gathering in fellowships are not what define Christianity. True Christianity is the actual relationship with God, where one is born of Him, receiving His divine nature. This is a definite experience that occurs at a particular moment in time.
One cannot be uncertain about when it happened, for it’s a conscious and transformative encounter with the living God, without which all the outward actions are empty. But when you're in this vital relationship with the Lord, each act of worship and devotion releases tremendous power and holds eternal significance.
THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF YOUR DIVINE ESSENCE
“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that
is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4).
Many don’t understand the Spirit’s language in the verse above when it says, “Ye are of God…”; it means you hail from God; you’re born of
Him. This is what makes the Christian a divine being, and not a mere human person. Hallelujah!
This is where some have missed it; their lack of consciousness of who they really are in Christ. The Apostle John, addressing this, said in 1 John 5:13, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life….” God wants you to have the conscious, active knowledge that His life is in you. You’re a divine life-carrier; a God-conveyor.
Referring to the Lord Jesus, the Bible says “…in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him…” (Colossians 2:9-10). Notice the expression, “And ye are complete in Him….” This means all of divinity resides in you as it does Jesus. No wonder Peter calls us “Associates of the God-kind”; partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4).
CONCLUSION
You’re filled or replete with God. That’s what it means to be “complete in Him”; nothing else needs to be in you to make you divine. This is why sickness, disease, and infirmity can’t be a part of your life. If you’d meditate on the God-life in you, you’d never be sick another day of your life.
You were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:13). The same life that makes it impossible for God to get sick, be defeated or have anything “happen” to Him is what you have in you. Your consciousness of this reality will make you eternally triumphant and walk-in dominion every day of your life. Glory to God!

FAITH AFFIRMATION
I affirm that my financial gates are continually open; they will not be shut on day or night
I function above economic cycles, empowered by the Spirit to flourish regardless of external conditions.
I am a custodian of Kingdom wealth—strategically positioned by God to fund the end-time harvest and execute divine mandates.
I am a distributor of blessings, a vessel of financial influence, and a trustworthy steward of divine resources.
My prosperity is purpose-driven, rooted in righteousness, and advancing the cause of Christ in every place.
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He teaches me to profit and leads me in the way I should go.
I have grace for increase and supernatural provision;
I walk in divine insight, and I know what to do.
Wealth and riches are in my house and everything I set my hands upon prospers.
My storehouses overflow with good things, and my fields yield in abundance.
I declare that I live in overflow and walk in perpetual increase.
The anointing causes men, systems, and institutions to favour me.
I lend to many, and I do not borrow (
I am the seed of Abraham, a joint-heir with Christ, and the world responds to me.
My steps are ordered into wealth and favour. I have supernatural wisdom for financial dominion, and my influence is expanding. Glory to God!

BE A GOSPEL ACTIVIST
"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly, defend the rights of the poor and needy." Proverbs 31:8-9 (NIV)
The word "activism" originates from the Latin actus, meaning "a doing or driving force." The modern term emerged in the early 20th century from the German Aktivismus, referring to deliberate action for social or political change. Activism involves, intentional efforts to address injustices and advocate for moral principles through protests, advocacy, or community service
The Bible presents numerous examples of activism.
Moses led the Israelites out of Egyptian slavery, confronting Pharaoh in pursuit of justice (Exodus 3-14).
The prophets, including Isaiah and Amos, spoke boldly against corruption, urging people to seek justice and defend the oppressed (Isaiah 1:17).
Jesus Himself was an activist, challenging religious hypocrisy, healing the marginalized and proclaiming freedom for the oppressed (Luke 4:18-19).
The apostles continued this mission fearlessly spreading the gospel despite persecution (Acts 5:29).
Christian activism is not rebellion but a call to action, standing for truth, justice, and righteousness. Just as biblical figures took bold steps for God's purposes, Christians today must engage actively in transforming their world through faith-driven action, ensuring the continued spread of the gospel in a broken world
A SACRED TRUST
"According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust" (1 Timothy 1:11).
The Apostle Paul took personal responsibility for the Gospel. His words in our theme verse show, that to him, the Gospel was a sacred trust. In 1 Corinthians 9:16, he said, “…necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” Again, in 1 Timothy 1:12, he declared, “…I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.”
Your conviction about the Gospel must be absolute. Think about it: the salvation of lost souls is God’s number one passion; it’s all that heaven stands for. Yet, God committed such a great commission and responsibility to you and me. This is something to be hallowed; too sacrosanct to take likely.
In Mark 16:15, Jesus said, “…Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”; this is the Great Commission. The question is, “Can God trust you to fulfill it?” Are you about His business, or you’re still busy pursuing your own dreams? Let the Gospel, and its spread around the world, mean more to you than anything else in this world. Be committed to it, irrespective of the oppositions you might face.
Take a cue from Paul; even when the Holy Spirit expressly testified that he’d suffer severe afflictions and be imprisoned if he went to preach in Jerusalem (Acts 20:22-23), he was undaunted. His response was: “… none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God” (Acts 20:24). Talk about burning your bridges? That’s it!
Be an activist for the Gospel. None of the adversities you face can defeat you if you stand your ground and refuse to quit. Remember that God counted you faithful and committed the Gospel to your trust; He believes in you. So, be an effective witness of the Lord Jesus Christ, and do it passionately with joy. Hallelujah!
